Poor week gvortex7 and i think it will get worse because we got Man.United at home next and then we Have B.Dortmund at home in the champions league.

I watched the Araenal game Tob. They just can't keep a lead like us! Infuriating stuff. On the plus side, Alexis Sanchez is mighty fine!

Couldn't care less Tob to be honest. The guy left a steady job chasing the dream and big money and fell flat on his face. I guess abroad is a wise move for him now. Decent manager, nothing more.

The United job was too good to turn down and it is something that he would never be offered again in his career steedeel.

Not really relevant to anyone else here, but I find it very funny that Pearson said his "key" to success in Premier League is "identity". This is coming from a manger who plays formations, and players, in such a willynilly seeming fashion even his players regularly look baffled.

I find it infuriating too, because things only started falling apart for us when we started to "adapt" to teams. Matching a teams tempo, playing in a style that mirrors the other teams weaknesses etc is all fine - we did that well last season - but changing the formation every week and giving very few players more than one game before benching them is really poor management in my opinion.

I think you'll defeat ManU. Dortmund will be a tough one though, that team is playing like world beaters right now.

I pretty much summed up Everton's play the other day. I didn't watch the first half, but our second half was piss poor. The passing/play making is just not there right now at the EPL level. I don't understand why our solid play from the Europa league doesn't register in England. I hope we figure it out. We've also been making some bone headed plays on defense lately. Roberto needs to continue to tinker with the lineup too to get some good chemistry on the field.

Going into the season with Nugent was a huge error. The guy is so out of his depth it's embarrassing (bit like Altidore for us). I hope you can bring in a striker who can keep you up. It's so tough as you know.

Thanks mate. We usually do, but now with the increased spending comes the increased responsibility and expectations. Top 10 (more like top 5-7) finishes are no longer viewed as successful. It's CL or bust really. We started off pretty roughly this season, but thankfully so did most of the other big teams out there (not named Chelsea), so we're still in decent position to get there.
