You guys must not appreciate hairless legs the way we Americans do.

Let me tell you, seriously, if German wins it, they’ll make history (enabling both Men and Women current World Cup holders, at the same time) and I’d bet that record lasts for a long time. I’m sort of rooting for them because the U.S. National Team has been playing uninspiring football as of late….and dare I say it, really don’t deserve to win at this rate.

Haven't watched today's match, but they should have beaten China...easily.

Leicester finally sign that Japanese striker they've been trying to sign for years, it's taken so long the striker is now 29 years old. Seems a bit of a gamble to offer him a four year contract, keepers can play until they're nearing forty but I'm not so sure it'll work out the same for a forward. Subject to a work permit either way.

Apparently Pearson's been sacked. Again. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33338638

Now he can waffle on about ostriches and choke opposition players somewhere else.

I came in to celebrate the great news about holding onto Schlupp, but then I see the article posted above. That is a bit of a shocker. He had a mostly abysmal season, granted, but he also pulled off one of the greatest escapes in history. Maybe a manager with more consistency would be better, but Pearson has done the graft and the players respect him. I think it can have a very negative impact removing him now. I wonder if it's to do with the way his son acted.

The US ladies deserved the win today though. For once the Germans are let down by their penalties!

Leicester have sold Chris Wood, dunno why everyone is getting upset over it we didn't use him any way and we've signed the striker Pearson always wanted. Although Pearson is gone now so...

Honestly, I don't know. We definitely need someone who doesn't play favourites and someone who is willing to mix it up on a regular basis, they were Pearson's faults.

The owners have to come out and explain to the fans why they sacked him.

They did. I’m not sure if it was because they played at a higher (much higher) performance level than in the previous matches…..or if the coach came to her senses and went to a 4-3-3 which better suited the talent of the team….or the Germans were simply fatigued due to the double overtime and penalty shootout vs. the French a couple days prior….or a combination of the above.

But whatever it was, I’ll take it.

Note to Tob….not just hairless legs…but something else the men don’t also have when they play is wearing eye liner while on the field.
