Looks like we're back to where we should be. Drinkwater had a nice little celebration at his contract extension and Vardy finding the net again. Really concerned about the potential of injury for Schmeichel as I really don't rate that new keeper of ours. I'm also concerned about Mahrez's penalty form right now, he's been one of our most reliable goal scorers since we got promoted. On the spot or open play.

Not the most convincing victory yesterday (one of the strangest penalties ever), but I'll take the 3 points along with 4th overall place in the league. Not a bad start this time around. We have plenty of improving to do on offense, especially with regards to finishing in the box, but I think out defense will carry us far this year.

Good start to the season by Everton i expect Koeman to make another signing or two with the transfer deadline on Wednesday.

Thanks tob. Yeah, I know he'll make a bit of a splash, but he's definitely staying mum on the subject, no matter how much the media has been bugging him about it.

Congrats to Schweinsteiger on a great international career. Today was his last game for Germany. He's been one of my favorite players in the past decade, and he'll be sorely missed by the German squad going forward.

Anybody looking forward to this weekend's action? The Manchester derby should be a fun match, and so is the Liverpool vs. Leicester matchup. I'm of course looking forward to the Everton vs. Sunderland match for obvious reasons. It will be interesting to face Moyes for the first time on opposing sidelines. It will be nostalgic to say the least. I just hope we come away with 3 points to continue our current momentum.

Leicester looked utterly found out there, they absolutely deserved that thrashing.

Nice win tonight, vortex. Lukaku got the hat trick but it's Bolasie's name the Everton fans can't stop singing, on nights like this he's unplayable. I think splitting him and Zaha up has done them wonders, instead of trying to outdo each other with the tricks, flips and skillz they're knuckling down and delivering what matters: goals. Zaha with a goal and assist for Palace against Boro, and Yala with an assist tonight (and should've had more).

Thanks guys. Lukaku was amazing. I wish he played this focused and free flowing all the time instead of forcing things. I'm super stoked with our start this season though. In 3rd place and two points off the leaders Man City, I'll take it.

Congrats on Arsenal's win tob. You guys needed it to move about the middle of the table.

Thanks man. I'm glad your team finally won as well. I know that must have been frustrating have to wait this long for the first one to come.

Cheers vortex. First away win for Palace in 10 months, says it all really. Still, it's usually Palace who are on the wrong end of history (it's something I love to moan about) but we were the party poopers this time. Apparently we'd never won before at the Riverside and that was Boro's first home defeat in something like 44 games (most in the Championship, natch).

Pretty good weekend for all of us, apart from poor Steedy.

Wow, I didn't know about that streak. So I guess it's even more impressive considering. A couple of my buds here who are rooting for Boro were crying about that outcome this past weekend.

There have been some major blowouts these past few days in CL play, which just shows you that the talent level difference between some of these clubs is enormous. The one that surprised me the most is the 7-0 thrashing of Celtic by Barca. I thought they were better than that.

The Celtic result didn't surprise me gvortex7 the Scottish clubs find it hard to adjust to this level of football in Europe because of the small league they have and the other clubs from small nations in Europe.
