Yeah, terrific.

I think getting Clement was a very good acquisition, his spell at Derby didn't go so well but he's got some quality match-winners (Llorente, Sigurdsson) in that squad and they already seem to be responding well to him. I think they'll stay up now, meaning a straight-up streetfight between Palace, Sunderland, Hull, Boro for those three spots. Alas, Palace already have dibs on the wooden spoon.

Every year I get the feeling.....if we just had a couple more world class players....we could win the title and not fall short every time.

I can't remember if I saw the quicker highlights during last night's Match of the Day 2.

Glad we got the three points against Sunderland. Breathed a huge sigh of relief, after our last game or two.

Even when you have positive thoughts that your team will win against a lower-placed team, there's that niggling doubt that the other team will cause a shock and beat us.

I was trying to picture something as funny as what you said about the boots, but the best I could think of was throwing beach balls on the pitch. Can only speak from an Albion fan's point of view, but I think when West Brom play their last away game of the season, the supporters dress up in beachwear or fancy dress (but normally it's beachwear).

Gary Lineker is a poor presenter he didn't direct enough questions to Ruud Gullit the problem is he rather a laugh and banter with the guests he likes instead of a actual good discussion or a debate on a topic in the game.
This is the problem with the English media and how they cover the game the likes of the B.B.C and SKY hire to many ex footballers to go with the safe presenters they have presenting their shows.

I tell you what, the upcoming game between Palace and Sunderland is gonna be like watching a bunch of monkeys trying to **** a doorknob, to quote the great Rip Torn.
I don't get Liverpool. They seemed to have been cruising along this season, until recently. They were taken to a third-round F.A. Cup replay by Plymouth, then in the replay they didn't exactly thrash their opponents.

Our second goal against Sunderland (from Brunt) was one of the best goals I can remember seeing this season, along with that West Ham goal recently, and that free kick scored by Rooney (I can't stand the 'invincible' Manchester United though). I don't mind that Stoke City are right behind us in the league, as it's very good to have another Midlands team in the top half of the table (Peter Crouch only needs to score another goal to reach 100 goals scored in the Premiership), and I like the job Mark Hughes has been doing at Stoke City, especially after the dodgy start to this season.

That upcoming game betwen Crystal Palace and Sunderland is going to be what they call a 'six-pointer'.

You never know, things could turn themselves around. It's happened before, Sam Allardyce keeping teams up in the league.

This is going to look like I'm being negative towards a couple of posters, but a thread could be started for the Championship. Posters will make crossover appearances from one thread to the other, and vice-versa.

Congrats Gvortex, hard luck Geoff, but keep the faith , you will be fine.

Good luck Tob and Penton tomorrow. Will be routing for you guys.
They say a team in the Premiership need 40 points to stay up in the league, so it's great to see us currently at 32 points. I don't know who we've got next. We've got a weekend off (because of being knocked out of the F.A. Cup third-round by Derby County, who I think are live on BBC One with their fourth-round match), unless the team we're playing next were also knocked out in the third-round also had this coming weekend off, and the match has been rescheduled for this weekend.

2 Good 2 Bad was very good on Match of the Day 2 last night. The lady from the last 2 Good 2 Bad returned (her reaction as it was announced that there were five minutes of extra time was priceless). Also (and I shouldn't have laughed at it), but the coach door closing before the player had completely stepped off the coach was funny.

Thanks mate. We definitely got lucky at the end there because for the majority of the match it looked like it was going to end like our first one. It wasn't pretty, but I'll take the win. I'm sorry it had to come against your squad.

Congrats on the good result and getting back to the second spot tob. I told you Arsenal will get back on track.

Liverpool losing to Swansea was a definite bonus this weekend.

38 has been good enough for the last several years but yeah around that total will see you safe. We are gone. I know I have said that for 5 years and every time we pull off incredible escape. This time, we really are gone. Trust me!
