Yeah, I noticed that later on. I totally forgot about that cup, since we've been eliminated from it for months now.

Damn United won another one. Where would they be with Ibrahimovic this year? That guy is an ageless wonder.

It brought back memories of our visit to Wembley in the cup final! It seems so so far away now!

It's so frustrating because for three weeks, one win would have got us out of the relegation zone. Now, we have Man City at home.
I know. You guys have been stuck on 19 points for a bit now. Yet you're still just a victory away from getting out of relegation. This season will come down to the wire, and it will be very nerve wrecking for your squad's fan base. Those bottom five teams will duke it out for the last few safe spots on the table.

Here you go buddy.
Thanks Tob. It's a good job I asked as I could have said the wrong team, with regards to which team one of the regulars supports. Well, our next game is against Geoff's team.

Geoff, good luck this coming Saturday with the game. And the best of luck to everyone else's teams (the regular, occasional and newcomer posters).

Well, we're not far off our Premiership table points record of 49 points. There are 12 games left, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed we beat our record. In seasons past, our problem when we've got enough points to stay in the Premiership, is that we became complacent for the rest of the season.

You can't help but be cynical about how Leicester have improved since Ranieri was sacked a few days ago. I was, after seeing this past Monday night's Match of the Day 2.

The form that West.Brom have been on i can see them getting a Europa League place.

Apart from seventh, which other places in the Premiership table qualify for places in the Europa League? We're not that far behind Everton, but they have that better goal average. I don't think West Brom have a big enough squad to play in Europe, and you're playing a lot more games than other teams in the Premiership.

Luck is not a factor. We will get Pulis'ed, so congratulations on another 3 points nearer that record tally.

Technically it's fifth place which has the Europa spot, but presuming that the winners of the League Cup and FA Cup finish in the top five anyway then the euro spots from the cup wins get passed to whoever finishes 6th and 7th. I think.

Hopefully Leicester and Man U will beat their respective opponents to keep them anchored in the table's nether regions, I can't see Sunderland beating Man C either but then City used to be Sunderland's b*tch not too long ago so stranger things have happened.

Liverpool v Arsenal and Spurs v Everton could go either way.

The best results for us would be if Tottenham beat Everton (and by a few goals, so Everton's goal difference won't be too far ahead of us), Manchester United beat Bournemouth, Middlesbrough beat Stoke and Chelsea beat West Ham.
