Heh, so Ramos didn't just knacker Salah, he also gave Karius a concussion. If he wasn't a footballer he'd have a hell of a career as a hitman.

Penton Man, I see Amazon have won rights to show 20 premier league games from 2019. Looks like you will have access to more games for a cost.

As much as I enjoy watching football, I won't be bothering with Amazon. Sky and BT both cost enough as it is.

From 2019, clubs outside the premier league can watch midweek games live online. Sky will also carry them on their interactive red button service.

Cheers mate. I just found out that BT Sport have bought the remaining package. I guess that means they'll put their subscription cost up, no doubt.

I don't know where Spanish football will be going at the moment. At least if Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid, as has been reported as a possibility this morning, we'll be able to watch their matches without commentators banging on and on about him.

As far as I'm aware Tob, they'll be showing midweek matches using the red button to select which match you wish to view.

No problem mate. I probably won't get to see many of them live anyway as I normally work Monday to Wednesday right through until the evening.

Isn't that the tranche of UK rights? Doubt it will apply to the colonies as they have their own rights packages tied up with whoever.

Nah mate, the packages on offer were for the UK broadcast rights. NBC has the US (English speaking) rights, and much like the thingy coming up with the EFL you can pick whatever game you want to watch on any given matchday. They literally have access to all 380 games.

Ah right, thanks. For some reason I thought Amazon rights would be different. It appears not.

'the colonies' ?
I’d take that personally, but recently I heard that it was Canada that burned down the White House way back when.
