Just to counter the rant about selfish, money grabbing footballers, I give you Defoe. We are proud of you Jermain.

Heartbreaking picture, apparently Bradley didn't want Defoe to leave and as you can see, he fell asleep gripping Defoe!

Young Bradley and Defoe (as well as the other players pictured) are a credit to my club, so proud.

I think Jermaine will go down as a bit of a legend regardless, not in terms of trophies and titles and junk like that, but just how he's conducted himself over the years and given his all every time he's pulled on a shirt, no matter what team it was or what league it was.

He is a legend here Geoff. He will go down in history at this club. Such a grafter as well, which I didn't always appreciate before he came here. He could easily have asked for a transfer but he has shown loyalty and the club got to him so much he was crying when he scored in the Derby against Newcastle!

As for Palace, on SSN they just showed the stats of Swansea, Hull and Palace since their respective new managers took over, and while Swansea and Hull have both seen a huge improvement we've actually gotten WORSE than under Pardew. You couldn't make it up.

Anyhoo, people may recall that I always moan how players and teams on lengthy runs of poor form always manage to end it against Palace, well the 4-0 win for Sunderland was Jack Rodwell's first win in a Sunderland shirt after 35+ games! You're welcome, Jack.

Until you can come up with something better than Rodwell's run then Palace are winning that argument, methinks! It's about the only thing we are winning

The way Hull have turn things around Geoff i won't be surprised if we go 1-0 down in the first half and collaspe under our own pressure still who needs trophies when we play nice football so watch out Bayer.Munich you are next.

The Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham games are live on TV next week (Wednesday on BT Sport 2, Thursday on BT Sport 2 and Thursday on BT Sport 3 respectively). We made hard work for it again today against Hull but its three points with big games to come but we can't allow teams chances and expect to be serious title contenders because we are not and that won't change under Wenger good performance from Sanchez today but Bayern will hurt us Wednesday night.

Well done anyway tob, doesn't look like Sunderland or Palace will be taking advantage of it though as we're both losing, surprise surprise. That game for us against Boro is going to be even biggerer than the one against Sunderland so Palace will fold under the pressure, we'll probably let in 8 rather than 4.

Meh, I knew it was going to be a tough ask at Stoke, a 0-0 would've felt like a win. We'd won our last 4 EPL games against them too, so naturally that run was going to come to a halt today. Palace are doomed.
