I’ve heard champions league is resuming as per - http://www.uefa.com/error.html?aspxe...rl_mapper.aspx

Does anyone know what the latest is with the Manchester City thing and future champions league places as to how it effects the Prem? Has that been settled yet? I haven’t kept up.

Man City's appeal against UEFA took place about 2 weeks ago. According to the article below, the result from the Court of Arbitration for Sport is expected early next month.

thanks for the info, in the meantime it should be interesting to watch Chelsea, ManU and Woverhampton battle it out in that yet TBD significance of 5th place....or someone sneaking up from lower down

You're welcome.
Yes, it's going to be a close run between Man Utd and Wolverhampton. Spurs may struggle to finish much higher in the table - they had to settle for a draw against Man Utd last Friday, but you never know.

I'm really looking forward to the Man City v Liverpool game on the 2 July. As of this moment, it appears they haven't settled on the venue yet as the Premier League website merely says 'TBC'. I missed Liverpool's game against Everton last night which ended up 0-0, but I'll watch their next game against Crystal Palace on the 24 June as well as the Chelsea v Man City game on the 25th. There are some good fixtures coming up to round off the season.

Congrats to longtime Liverpool supporters here. You guys are likely ecstatic! Special kudos to John Henry as opposed to the Kroenke management and investment way of doing things.

Yeah, I don’t know much about him but I think I remember he was admired outside of Ireland too.

I red the news wrt to decision about Man City so I guess the drama at the top of the table now will center on Leicester City and ManU, unless Chelsea totally collapses.

heads-up for those having interest, so far I’ve only watched the first several minutes of this doc on Netflix but I am in awe of the Academy system some folks across the pond have for developing players as compared to my country –

Sky Sports/BT Sport in the UK & Ireland are offering each non televised PL match as a pay per view option for their subscribers throughout October.

https://www.skysports.com/football/n...res-in-october

You would asked to pay £14.95/€16.95 per match on Sky Sports/BT Sport Box Office. Yikes. Who is going to pony up the cash to do that?

Congratulations to Marcus Rashford for becoming an MBE. This honour could not go to a more deserving individual.

Watched the Chelsea v. Leeds match yesterday. Anyone old enough to remember seeing it live, or maybe remember their parents talking about the ’70 FA Cup replay –

as a #10, I received my share of being hacked, but nothing like in that match

I don’t understand why it took reportably about 1 hour from the time of the breach of the Manchester United stadium today by hundreds of breaking and entering trespassers for a whopping 7 police to show up to try to clear them out.
