In that ^ regard, a longtime friend of mine and his wife from Maryland visited us recently in SoCal, he, who was an active duty Naval aviator, selected to attend ‘Top Gun’ , plus a graduate of the Pax River test pilot school - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...r#post16682369

and so one evening we all go out to a local restaurant and overhear some guy bragging to a young woman that he was a Top Gun graduate, as he was wearing a bomber jacket with said patch. His conversation regarding that *accomplishment* filled with B.S., according to my in-the-know buddy.

For the record, to get a Top Gun patch, the real patch, you have to have graduated from the Navy Fighter Weapons School. So, the patches you see for sale on ebay, etc. and then end up sewn on posers’ jackets who never attended Top Gun are not authentic. The distribution of authentic patches is controlled and the people that make them honor that privileged accomplishment. For when a true Top Gun graduate wants a patch, they look up your name on a list they have and you get one only if you’re on a graduating class log.

Although the season opener of the English Premier League was a downer for Arsenal fans, no matter which team you supported, the Field of Dreams Game in 4K HDR and drama was awesome –

Very true but I literally gave the movie away after I watched it if not for giving it to my brother I would have thrown it in the trash to each there own.
