Anyway, happy anniversary to Batman. Surely a BIG reason modern superhero blockbusters exist, and mainly, the reason why Batman The Animated Series was ordered and animation changed forever!

I got excited when I saw this thread. I thought that this was getting a theatrical re-release!

I saw this in theatres on it's original release. It was one of the best movie experiences of my life!

Such a classic film and it's sequel. At the time best superhero film we had and holds up well over time

Opened in August in the UK. On my birthday! What a treat!

Elfman's score is still one of my all-time favourites (friends have been known to call it the soundtrack to my life). Can't believe it didn't even get nominated at the Oscars.

I first saw it Christmas Day 1991 on BBC-1!

Definetly one of the defining movies of my life, even if it is a classic case of style over substance.
