Default What's your pizza left over limit

Just wondering, you order up some pie, don't eat it all and stick it in the fridge for later... how long before you decide its past its prime?

Me? Anything longer then 18 hours after I get it, I toss it out, so in other words, if its not breakfast the following morning, its trash. What about you?

Usually like 2 days. If I get one on Monday, I might take it for lunch on Wed, that's the last I would eat it.

I don't know, seeing that you're Dr. Zoidberg, you'd eat anything.

Anyway, normally I eat the whole large Dominoes Pizza whole. Yup, all 13 1/2 inches whole. There was 1 slice I couldn't finish, so I left it for the next morning.

Now that's dedication folks, not even slicing it up first just folding that puppy in half and stuffing it in your face.

This thread is great. If you eat two week old pizza and survive you deserve an iron man award.

Now that's just wrong.

I have no set limit per se, but I will say that any pizza that has been in the fridge is hardly edible after a couple hours. It just gets too dried out, and when compared to fresh pie, it's almost not worth it to eat cold pizza. Considering I don't eat pizza too often, I try to keep my intake to only the good stuff — meaning fresh out da box while still (hopefully) piping hot. It's the only way for me.

I usually toss stuff once it grows hair.

Seriously though, depending on what it is, 3-4 days at the very most. Usually only about 2.

Depends on the toppings. A lot of veggies I'll throw out after a couple days but if it's just pepperoni, I can live with it up to four.

Roughly 1-3 days, usually leftover pizza doesn't last too long anyways.

If it has been put in the fridge and wrapped properly, I don't see any issue with eating a previously cooked pizza up to 5 days after original purchase.

If it was not put in the fridge and left out, 4-6 hours max before is goes down the garbage disposer, because my wife, even though she went to school for hotel/restaurant management, will ignore the danger zone and will eat food left out overnight and takes too damn long to put things away after a grocery trip...no wonder she's on the bowl @ 2 AM half of the week...you'd think she'd learn...stubborn woman!

Can't say I've ever reached my limit. I usually eat some for breakfast, then finish off whats left for lunch. Haven't ever had to test my intestinal fortitude*.

* You have to say this with Jim Ross's voice for the full effect.
