Default Patched PowerDVD 7.3 is broken
All the trouble I've had with a new LG BH08 install has boiled down to two problems, a new HDMI cable that was defective, and following LG's instructions to patch the PDVD 7.3 on their 1.2 install disk with the latest BD patch. With that update, BD's produce an error 80004005 on this Dell Q6600/
ATI 2600XT/WinXP.

This patch was found by some others to be broken, and I finally saw one of their messages. I uninstalled Cyberlink and re-installed only the CD. Now at least the video works - still looking for sound.

No thanks to Cyberlink; I sent DxDiag and Advisor files to them days ago - no reply.
