Default Worth getting on Blu-ray?

I just got back from Wal-Mart and they have a display of blu's on sale for $15. I was wondering if I could get some advice on purchasing some of these flicks. I'm sure I will get plenty of advice on PQ and AQ but if it's not too much trouble let me also know if it's at least good enough to upgrade from DVD.

Here are the blu ray's that I'm looking at getting:

Talladega Nights
Old School
The 40 Year Old Virgin
Good Luck Chuck
My Best Friends Girl
Hellboy
Superman Returns
Hulk

I can only vouch for Superman Returns, Hellboy and Hulk. All are definite improvements over the DVD (Hellboy probably being the best). Superman Returns isn't the best Blu-ray out there, as it exhibits quite a bit of banding, probably due to bitrate issues, but it's still a good improvement over the DVD. Is it the PCM/TrueHD version or the Dolby Digital version? If they have both and you have the equipment to take advantage of lossless audio, make sure you get the PCM/TrueHD one, as it has a great soundtrack. Hulk is very good as well, and has a great soundtrack.

Picked up the True HD copy for $14.96 at Wal-Mart and could not be happier with the movie. GOOD BUY.

Hulk, Hellboy, and Superman Returns. Unless you're talking about the original Hulk movie, in which case don't touch that.

You already own The Incredible Hulk, which is far superior to The Hulk (2003), so I would not buy The Hulk. It cannot touch the Edward Norton 2008 version. It does not touch the audio or the picture. Save your $15.

I haven't seen the DD release of Superman Retuns anywhere for a little while now. I waited to buy it because of its re-release with a Dolby TrueHD track. To boot, it also has a uncompressed 5.1 audio, too! Just check the back of the case before you buy to be sure.

Take your pick - it's an audio bonanza on that disc! Well worth $14.96 to buy now, and the PQ is very good.

Talladega Nights
Old School

Not much noticeable improvement over the DVDs

The 40 Year Old Virgin

So much EE if the film wasn't that great I'd say one to avoid.

Good Luck Chuck
My Best Friends Girl
Hellboy
Superman Returns

All nice upgrades.

Hulk

Sound is better than the HD DVD. Picture is an improvement for sure over SD.

Get Hellboy, Hulk, Superman Returns.

And Good Luck Chuck. So hilarious!! Dan Fogler's best movie to date. I actually pop that one in from time to time because some of the scenes are so classic. Warning though- a LOT of sex. And very good PQ imo.
