Default Someone mention Bang & Olufsen recently...

And asked what they were up to, apparently a 103" 1080p plasma!

I'm pretty sure the plasma panel is sourced from Panasonic.

If Panasonic is making the panel....good enough!

They are notoriously expensive though..... so a huge price tag on this item certainly wouldn't be a surprise.

Well the 103" supposedly carries twice the price tag from the 103" panasonic. I wouldn't imagine it being twice as good. What I've heard and seen is that they look very stylish so that's the market they aim to, plus they sure have to be good, just not worth it.

it has some very cool design aspects... but all i want is a TV with great PQ and one can be had for far less than this.

The picture quality should be identical if the panel is sourced from Panasonic...and I have no doubt it is unless anyone is aware of any other factory capable of producing a 103" plasma panel? B&O certainly don't own one.

You could build an addition, install a top of the line projector and sound system and even stock it with girls for that amount

or... plop that tv down in your living room.
