Talking 1980's Voltron toy

Does anyone have/remember the metal Voltron toy from the 80's? You had each individual lion and they interlocked in various ways i.e the tails of the lions that formed the arms had tails that locked into the body and the ones for the feet had heads that folded up to look like feet while the legs of the black lion went down into the two lions that formed the feet. The heads of the lions on the feet and arms were spring loaded so, you could shoot them off. I lost my copy of it in the mid-late 80's when I moved. Just curious to see if anyone had one like that.

I still have mine, all 5 lions, the only problems is the red and green lions head could shoot off and I lost the green head when I was 5 maybe 6 years old. These were the good toys, metal with lead paint, freakin' awesome.

I thought this topic would be considered off-topic since it has nothing to do with blu-ray,electronics, movies..... Where else would you think it should fall under? I would assume general chat to be for non specific Blu-ray topics.

I remember this toy! I used to love playing with it! It was my prized possession. Wish I still had it. As others have mentioned...I also used to have He-Man action figures, GI-Joes, Go-Bots, and remember the ThunderCats!

Lion-O thunder, thunder, thunder Cats, Ohooooo. Yeah. I had He-man and the green plastic tiger/lion he rode on with the brown plastic saddle you strapped onto the tiger/lion that always was a bit*h to get on. What about Mumraah( Ithink that was his name)? They do sum pretty funny stuff with all these 80's cartoon characters on Robot Chicken. Go-bots, Wow now I haven't thought about that sine forever.

Yeah, if you post it under General Chat, only the same 5 or 6 people would see it anyway...

I've got a complete and fully functioning set at my mom's (just saw it a few weeks ago) from when I was a kid. It's an original that I've had all this time since the time the cartoons aired in non-reruns.

I do not think mine is metal, though; or at least not completely metal. You're making me want to drive over and check now! I probably wouldn't sell it for $500 even if mine was worth it.

I used to have one, but I ended up breaking off the tails of the red and green lions inside the black lion. For some reason they got to where they wouldn't separate like they were supposed to. Kinda wish I still had it. It would be an awesome collectible now.

There's this one available for about $200, but I don't think it's the original.

I still have mine. But it's in beat up/played with condition with a few minor bits and pieces broken off and what-not. I wouldn't mind getting one in better condition if I could find it for a decent price. I believe Matchbox made the metal version.

I feel your pain bro!!!
Grrrrrrr in addition to this gem of a toy I had damn near every Star Wars toy that was ever known to man! My GI Joe colection was pretty bad ass as well. He-Man had all that too....what was skelators lair called again? lol My transformers collection was ok, but the majority of my collection was Star Wars, He-Man, ThunderCats, GI Joe and Transformers.

Thanks for making me get rid of all those toys ma!!!
