Default Lionsgate's Marvel Animation

Lionsgate has brought Ultimate Avengers to Blu-ray and will be putting Docter Strange on Blu-ray ,does anyone know if they plan to put Iron Man out on Blu-ray, and does anyone know what's next in their Marvel Animation? I would like to see some Silver Surfer films.

Well, Marvel is planning some Teen Avengers for DVD, but as to whether or not it will be BD remains unknown.

Still not sure whether Doctor Strange looks worth buying at this point.

I was looking at buying Avengers, but I read a couple of reviews that said the PQ was below standard. Supposedly good audio though. Were they wrong?

You can always wait to see what it is going to be like. Typically, I think these animated movies show on the Cartoon Network before they show up on DVD, or is it shortly after? I can't remember, but I do know that I have seen Iron Man on Cartoon Network and I think the Ultimate Avengers did too. The Hellboy animated movies were on before they were released on DVD, so it wouldn't surprise me if it shows up a month or so before it appears on Blu-ray and DVD.

That will NEVER happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those properties (Saban) are controlled by Di$ney.

X-Men TAS
Spider-Man TAS
Digimon
Mon Colie Knights
ALL Power Rangers series
Big Bad Beetleborgs
VR Troopers

NONE of these shows (most certainly in complete season sets) will NEVER, EVER see the light of day!!!!!!!!!
Why? I have been trying for years and years and years to try to get Di$ney to release complete season sets of Digimon (one of my all-time favorite anime series -- period).
Sorry dude, but you need to put your hopes of seeing any of the above properties (for you, X-Men and Spider-Man) to bed. End of discussion!!!!!!!

heh.

On another forum someone posted one frame from a scene on Avengers that was line doubled (this lasted like one second). Apparently everybody has taken this as representative of the other thousands of frames the disc has, all of which looked tack sharp and fine on a 1080p display.

Dr. Strange looks really good from the previews I've seen...

and I don't even like the character...the animation looks like this will be the best movie available yet out of Iron Man and both UA movies...

I'll pre-order for 20 bucks from amazon.com

The prices aren't bad, but these are just those types of movies for me that arent a must have just something that would be nice so waiting a bit is no big deal to get them.

Frankly the Marvel/Lionsgate DTV dept. themselves admitted they are aiming now more towards the kiddy market, and the preview to me looks like anime/Pokemon garbage. They pretty much said that's exactly the market they're shooting for with their upcoming Teen Avengers DVD. That's just not for me.

My hopes are pinned on the next few WB Justice League titles, which I'm hoping will be more of the former, and not like the Braniac Returns garbage (and we get it on BD).

I hope the part I bolded isn't true...

cartoons are horrible nowadays...this was at least something worth watching even though they are getting worse as I don't even own Iron Man...and won't..

Unfortunately it is. There is an active discussion about it over in ToonZone.net Marvel forums.

So i guess there is no hope to ever see a Ghost Rider ,Fantastic 4 , Spider-man , X-men , Silver Surfer , Daredevil , and all the other great Marvel charcters in their own animated movie , I would like to see a movie based on Namor, I dont really know much on his comic universe. I wish they would branch out to all the character's and just keep making them, as long as they make them good, and they dont suck. none of this Teen Avengers crap (im sorry if their is anyone out there looking forward to Teen Avengers but I think a Ghost Rider or Silver Surfer animated movie could be awesome, why do something made just for kids, it's not like kids didnt watch Ultimate Avengers or Iron Man already, why try and lower your audience numbers to just kids) I believe Lionsgate had a great opportunity on their hands with Marvel Animation Films and would hate to see them ruin it.

I think they're being cautious, they'll see how these two sell then plan for the future.
