Default JVC Blu-ray

Does anyone on the site have any personal experience with the new JVC blu ray player? Supposedly it's super fast but has a very bright display in the front. I tried doing a search but didn't find anything. Thanks.

Yes I have had it for a little over a month. It is super fast and has played all disc I have played, blu and sd dvd's. The blue lights on the front are a little annoying but some black electrical tape took care of that.Sd dvd's look really good upconverted and blu ray looks great. Some people say it will be a good secondary player but I use it as my primary player and would find it very hard to find one better at the price or even for more money. Best bang for the buck, in my opinion.

This appears to be an amazing and very underrated player that gets little pub. I read about how well it did in deinterlacing tests. It appears to be a great SD upconverter and a lightning fast BD player. It also has been very stable with no playback issues. Kudos to JVC for making their first BD player a winner. Its kind of a bummer most don't know about it.
