Not sure if this title will be released as a steelbook or book. But looking at the coverart, it sure looks like one. I really hope so as I love this movie.

I am so happy I clicked the Steelbook section today. lol...I usually don't buy them. Only have Sweeney Todd but the UK SB looks absolutely stunning! Minus those annoying age restrictions.

I pre-ordered it for the $17..with the $3 shipping it comes to about $30 US dollars shipped...if the currency thing was right. That's really not bad @ all considering the US Sapphire release is fetching about $27. You guys got lucky with the $13 price. Just to clarify some things..

I read the 16 pages and my mind is fried lol. We don't know if it's region free but most of Universal's titles are so we should be good there. Someone mentioned subtitles...what's that about? And also the special features may be PAL encoded. All-in-all I'm doing it for the case. I love it!

amazon.fr has a pre-order link now showing a white cover steel, same as shown at amazon.de and much cheaper. But without any discreption regarding SteelBook, maybe it's just a regular packing as the UK regular one.

Yeah - but amazon.fr shipping is awful - even if they get the same cover as the German one, I'm sticking with amazon.de - less chance of getting damaged steelbooks or loose discs.

Remember the original first post I made for this thread?
Well it came from a French press release about the upcoming SteelBook of Gladiator.
Still, they used the UK cover, and I'm really unsure France will be getting this in a SteelBook. We'll see.
