Did something happen? i dont see it anymore, and no explanation. This site had it slated for today.

Did the Pianist really come out this past week?!? Holy crap, how could I have missed it? It's listed on Amazon.com as having come out on Tuesday. I haven't seen it in stores, nor is it even in the search on this site? Is this an error?

And no it doesn't say Canadian import.

Good evening,

Typically, everything channeled through 101 Distribution is imports. With other words, yes, what you have linked is the Canadian release.

Hmmm... I wonder why it doesn't say Canadian import on Amazon though? I didn't mean to alarm anybody, it just surprised me. I was ordering Last Year at Marienbad and it came up as an option to buy as a package. I thought it had just slipped through everybody's fingers. I was actually thinking that it looked funny not seeing the Universal logo at the bottom of the cover pic.

If infact it is the Canadian release, it is 1080i with a TrueHD track. Released by TVA.

Optimum will be releasing it in the UK on July 20th. Here's the Amazon link:

No idea about region coding (before anyone asks) and no idea what sort of quality it will be. I hope it will be reviewed here fairly promptly as I will not be ordering it before seeing a review.
