How about a wish list list with wish counters? 1 vote per member. The movie or TV show drops off when it's been anounced for blu ray. Art can come from the movie poster, DVD or VHS art.

Actually, I think what he means is a sort of tally for how many members want a particular unreleased movie. Instead of (or along with) the endless Star Wars, Indiana Jones, BTTF, etc., threads.

For example:

Star Wars -- 1,883,828 members have on wishlist
Indy --- 1,231,111 members have on wishlist
Britney Spears' Crossroad --- 0 members have on wishlist

A way to keep track of the most wanted movies, without reading 1000s of posts all saying "Oh i want it," and "me too!", and "count me in!", etc.
