We do have Ghostbusters and Defiance on Blu. Whoever told you that is wrong. I can get you the SKU number but it will have to wait till tiom afternoon since I just left Target for the day.
Let me know, sorry for the bad info. Glory and Do the Right Thing I dont know about, but can check. Unfortunately we dont have a big area for displaying the product.
1 main aisle, an endcap, and another endcap that shares new release dvd's.
Let me know if you would like me to get those numbers for you.
Take care

Target sucks,

they are notorious for their "inside jobs"

Where I live there are like 5 Target stores, the Loss Prevention guys rotated from store to store and eventually all got together to instead steal from the stores. So they had a crime ring going on at all the stores, they would steal all the TVs, Ipods, Movies, video game consoles, CDs, and then they would destroy the tapes that showed the proof until someone finally caught on. IDK how they caught them but they were on the news

why does this make you hate Target? Shouldn't it just make you hate the person that was stealing? They caught him and prosecuted, that should make you happy.

I love how much better our selection is getting. I have been petitioning to my higher ups that we need to start beating the competitor prices and/or match Amazon to go with our own online prices. Hopefully they start to listen.

To the OP on Do The Right Thing & Glory ect ... we just don't have the space to get every title that comes out. I know it sucks, but we just get what we get.

Sorry about that. If you ever need confirmation on a title shoot me a PM. I am on here at least once to twice a day for a while depending on what job I'm at.

Both my local Wal-mart and Target has cut back on their in store selection. Wal-mart.com has a great selection, but I would just as soon buy from Amazon.com and get double points on my Amazon.com credit card.

I stopped at target yesterday on my way home to pick up Goldfinger. It was listed on sale for $19 on target.com, but when I got there it was $30 in the store. When I asked about a price match, the girl told me they don’t price match, not with their web site, or with any other stores.

Has target always been this way? I just went to best buy and picked it up, they price matched it for me there.

Yea Target has been this way for about 12 years since we started using Amazon as our shipment company like Toys R Us. The upside of this is that whenever Target has a sale or Price cut Amazon wil 99% of the time match it if they carry it, but the downside of it is that if Target.com runs it's own promo with Amazon we do not match that since it's an agreement with the online companies only.
Sorry about that

Oh, it was not a big deal. I was just a little suprised that with today's economy, a store would just turn someone away that is wanting to spend money. Now I know. Thanks for the info.

I have to diasagree a little bit here, I think Target's blu selection is even better than before(it has been expanded as of today,at least at the one I went to where I live in VA),I went in today and found all the "price drop" blu's that I wanted, picked up 16 Blocks,Blow,Kill Bills 1 and 2,and Gangs of NY,payed the cashier, and walked out a very happy customer!

Yea your right Mr White and I think we are moving in the right direction, but we still have to supply to the dvd customer as well. We went from 1 four foot section to a whole aisle. I think we are def going to really expand theis holiday, but when you compare to BB it's hard to look at it in the sense of things....mine has 2 full aisles front and back... The price cuts we do on Tuesdays are really helping us improve on library titles which should help us when it comes to expanding the library and making more room for a better selection
