Already up for preorder at amazon UK for a measly £15.79.

Maybe it'll be a "regular" special edition without all the trinkets from the US edition?

Could be. Casablanca and Woodstock were also released as normal versions in the UK. I do hope it will contain all the discs, though.

I agree. I can do without all the fluff, but I would like all the discs.

Can pre-order the four disc set in the US for $64.00.

A little too much for me. I'll wait until a one disc set arrives.

Frustratingly, Casablanca was not actually released at all in the UK.

But yes, this is great news. At that price I don't see how it could be anything but a trinket-free edition (and even if it isn't, the price was my main issue so it doesn't matter either way.) Both discs would of course be nice, but I'm not that big on extras so even if it's just the movie disc by itself the price makes up for it and the choice is easy.

Sounds it, but maybe it's intended for little kids or people who have something wrong with them.

It's a musical. What's wrong with calling it a "sing-a-long" edition? Maybe I'm missing something

Some pretty funny comments here.

But I have to disagree - "sing-a-long edition" makes it sound like a Jonas Brothers or High School Musical movie, not a 70 year old classic.

I'm definitely passing on the US release with all the trinkets and mass produced "collectibles". But I'll have to think about the sing along edition; no hurry, I think I've seen the move somewhere before.
