Ghost Rider HD DVD in France?

Today, I browsed Amazom.fr to find some BD's that can't be found in US/Japan. I bought the following:

Air Force One [Blu-ray]

Les Ailes de l'enfer [Blu-ray] (Con Air)

The Island [Blu-ray]

The Rock [Blu-ray]

Starship troopers [Blu-ray] (I am a fan of Kylie Minogue)

Cars [Blu-ray] (Must Have!!!)

Sorry, let's back to the point

Since Sony makes HD on it's movies, I don't see any reason why Universal won't

Anyhoo...that is pretty weird. I don't read French, so is it actually in stock or just one of those odd phantom pre-orders from Amazon, like the Star Wars BD listing on the US site?

Oops, you are right and I think I had some problems in my mind, when I was young

Now I know why, I messed this one up with Street Fighter in 1994...

Anyway, I think it's there as the date is said as "5 septembre 2007".

It's the french distributor, M6 Video. Many of the small European companies have gone for HD because of the low (massively subsidized) startup cost.

What they should be doing is banding together, and making 1 disc for all of Europe. THey can charge a lower price because the risk is spread across multiple companies, and get a further discount on the larger runs. Everyone wins.
