Default That old desert island question...

Except this desert island is outfitted with your favorite gear.

So you've been shipped to this gear filled, tech lovers desert island, oh yeah and you've got a roof over your head and a hut to call your own.

So what 5 movies do you bring?
what 5 books?
and what 5 albums?

Does anyone call them albums anymore? Insomnia does strange things to the mind, this is what passes the hours.

Anyway....

My 5 movies
5. Fellowship of the Ring Extended DVD
4. Two Towers Extended DVD
3. Return of the King extended DVD
2. Braveheart (on Blu if it's out by the time they put me there)
1. 12 Monkeys

My 5 books
5. Lord of the Rings - Tolkien
4. Game of Thrones - GRR Martin
3. Clash of Kings - GRR Martin
2. Storm of Swords - GRR Martin
1. Feast for Crows - GRR Martin

My 5 Albums
5. Before These Crowded Streets - Dave Matthews Band
4. Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
3. The Division Bell - Pink Floyd
2. Lateralus- TOOL
1. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Live at Luther College

Also feel free to add what gear your island will be outfitted with.

Movies

Planet Earth
Blazing Saddles
Star Wars A Hew Hope
Starship Troopers
Any porn film (Lets face it, if we are stranded on an island for ever; you can finish the sentence of)

Books
Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz
Beast House Trilogy by Richard Laymon
Lord of the Rings (Might finally find the time to read it)
The Book of Counted Sorrows by Dean Koontz
Encyclopaedia Britannica (so I know what I can eat with my movies)

Albums
Darkside of the Moon Pink Floyd
Greatest Hits 1/2 Queen
Catching Tales Jamie Cullum
42 Long Andrew Dice Clay
Greatest Hits Lynard Skynard

If a TV season box set could be substituted for a movie without offending the OP or the sod that strands me on this island I would drop Star Wars and take The Complete West Wing. (Best Show ever to come out of America if not the world)

We all need porn. It is one of life's essentials. Plus it help supports bad actors who cannot find real work
