United Kingdom ???Fast & Furious 1-4 blu-ray UK SteelBook™

Looks like there might be a UK release of the Fast & Furious 1-4 as well. There are two listing in Play.com.

Normal Release

Pimp My Box Release

If I had to make a guess the pimp my box edition will be a steelbook. It fits in the price range of the german and italian release and lately we have seen many steelbooks released around the Europe approximately the same time. I guess it's more cost effective to produce the steels at once for several releases in multiple countries.

Are you guys getting ready to drop the ultimate blu-ray steelbook collection as a goal? Seems like more and more titles are being released in multiple countries. Well I suppose this was an inevitable considering the higher cost of production.

Before christmas there will most likely be a tsunami of special, limited and exclusive editions of various movies and if the signs can be trusted many of them willl be released simultaneously in a steelbook in 4-6 or even more countries. This will become a seriously expensive hobby.

That is a tough call, but I more more than likely keep going. To come as close as I am and stop would not make a whole lot of sense considering I have a sealed collection that has already cost me a small fortune. To quit would make it all seem for not.

But that is just my opinion

Cheers

Yea for now I'm in agreement with Crash. the only thing that gives me solace is knowing that I could probably recoup whatever I spent on selling the steels back.....There's alwyas Digi books hell some of those are harder to come by

Says "brushed steel outer" on play.com. Sounds more like a big tin similar to band of brothers. I don't think they could fit all that extra goofy crap in a steel. Only time will tell

And seriously, who came up with the name "Pimp My Box Edition"?

It sounds like as soon as you open the box a figure pops out screaming "HERHERHERHERRR IT'S XZIBIT, PIMPIN' YO BOX!!!".

AmazonUK has the pre-order link for the same Steel 3 weeks ago, but has different coverart. I've put it in my order but doubt about if it is a SteelBook that time.
