LOL, So wolverine is now some gray malnourished alien with claws? Some Japanese style cartoons are cool but the old X-Men show is far superior to this.

As we learned from "Gotham Knight" (hence the Marvel equal-time equivalent), American comic producers can do "anime-style", and Madhouse can do American hire-work, but...the Japanese inside those studios just don't seem to understand their own grasp on the DC/Marvel mentality. (Which probably explains why they chose heroes whose backgrounds were already explained in nice, clear, first-timer-friendly big-budget film exports...A Japanese take on Thor or Deadpool would be a bit more of a challenge.)
It's just not in their cultural background to have Clark Kent turn into Superman by taking off his glasses...Except for Toriyama and parts of "Dragon Ball", but he confessed to reading the comics and doing a deliberate imitation.

(And, yes, we know Wolverine had some samurai-wannabe past, but as a ponytailed bishy-villain?
Guys...what other words you wanna use?: They don't get it. )

Yea, just like how the American can't choreograph a decent fight scene in a Hollywood action/martial arts movies. They don't get it.

Not sure about an Iron Man anime but I've wanted a show about Logan for years, definitely looking forward to seeing it.

Wolverine one sucks, I won't even watch that lol. Iron Man one looks okay. Not a fan of these types of anime personally.

Wolverine looks alright. Just a different spin on the character. The Ironman one looks better art-wise.

It's not just a "different spin". The movie version of Wolverine is a "different spin". This is Wolverine in name only as far as I can tell. Not only is the character design VERY far from what it should be, but his body language is FAR too effeminate as well.

Iron Man looks interesting though.

Some of the stuff from Gotham Knight was great. I especially liked the one with Batman stumbling around in the sewer remembering his training and the one with Deadshot. Actually, they all have some merit of one kind, even the one with the really weird take on the costume and art design where he repels bullets.

Personally, Gotham Knight was the only DC animated feature I thought was worth owning. I guess each person has his own taste ... US cartoon-style doesn't seem to be my cup of tea whereas anime (especially mecha anime) seems to be more my taste.

As such, I'll keep an eye on these editions, especially the Ironman one, because I wasn't a big fan of the Invincible Ironman BD's style.
