So apparently people are getting an email similar to this:

Apparently, I'm one of Sony's FAVORITE customers too.

Then again that's probably because I buy too damn much PSN crap...

I got one and checked it several times, because "thank yous" usually come with a coupon or SOMETHING. Nope, just and ad. Yipee.

Damn it... I spend an average of $20 a week and I didn't get a thank you e-mail!!! Maybe they aren't as grateful because they have to convert my Canadian dollar into American, thus losing approximately $0.10 on every dollar.

Nope. I haven't got anything. Maybe it's because I've been just getting free DLC for Rock Band cuz of Pepsi caps for the last few months, so I haven't actually bought anything since about May.

I got one also. Nothing free at all with it. Just a thank you being said. And in my almost 3 years of having my PS3, I've downloaded a lot of demos and made 2 downloadable game purchases. I don't have Rockband (somebody posted thinking that's why they got their thank you email).

Why it's hit and miss for some is beyond me. I can say you're not missing anything though. I read mine and thought it was nice to be on the massive send out list but wouldn't feel empty inside if i hadn't gotten one.
