Default Disney's Earth ?

Is Disney's Earth worth buying if I already have Planet Earth: The Complete Series? I've been interested in buying it, but have been also holding back.

As far as I know it's just the same thing re-edited to compact it inot a tighter run time so don't bother.

Someone on here told me it was 95% scenes from Planet Earth. Not worth it

I watched my copy yesterday, and I think it's well worth it. There's some scenes that I don't recall on PE.

This movie has the best of PE all in one disc.. I'd put it like that.

Overall, Excellent documentary. It's well worth $11 when I used my $10 coupon

Its about 30% new footage, but is made to follow around certain animals. It is more so kids will watch it and not get bored. It is actually quite good. Got it at BB for less than $15 since there was a coupon for it on the official website.

I would definitely agree with that. Apparently it is actually 40% new footage, but you will have a hard time telling because most is simply different angles and extended cuts. If you have kids this is a no brainer since the pacing is much more in-line with their attention spans. Even without the kids, I think it was a worthwhile purchase, if only to watch with friends when you only have a couple hours, and don't feel like sitting down for 10 hours of PE.

Exactly. I sat down and watched it by myself and had a great time. I like the end credits too... I thought that was funny!
