Default New to me Speaker stands

I just bought these adjustable speaker stands last night for only $5 off of Craigslist.

These are a set of speakers I've had sitting around from an old Philips shelf unit that I've been thinking of using instead of the small ones. Im trying to get better sound, but what do you think??

Also, make sure those speakers are not a different ohms than the ones they are replacing. You don't want to fry your receiver or the speakers themselves.

I have noticed that since I put the little speakers on the stand; it sounds much better than they did hanging on the wall. I have the stands set at about 30".

i had those same panosonic speakers too ... but i threw them out.. im sure your sound stage would sound best if they match your center... so use your original speakers.. but that's just my own opinion

other wise nice set up man
