I have been wanting to upgrade from my dvd version to the Blu version but I want to know if it is worth it. How is the AQ and VQ?

Thanks. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade with some minor flaws in production visible in the transfer. Thanks though.

The transfer is stunning, of course it's worth the upgrade.

I bought it, I love this movie and it's a huge upgrade over the 25th Anniversary DVD edition I had so if you like the movie go for it it's worth it IMO

With a picture quality of 4 stars, it's a no brainer. I'd upgrade.

Well I really want to get it but I ended up getting 2 other Blu Rays instead but it's on my list for sure.

BD-Live isn't working on it for me. Gets an error every time and my PS3 is fully updated. BD-Live works for all my movies except Dark Crystal.

They all(Dark Crystal BD's) do that(including my copy)

Great movie, i always loved this for 27 years since i was 4 and been in my top 10 movies as the blu-ray looks and sounds fantastic on HD with detail which is the name of the game

The picture and video of this film are pretty damn good, definitely worth the upgrade if you like the film.

I think the blu version of crystal looks awesome!

Well worth the upgrade.

Hopefully enough ppl have said the same to convince you ...

No need to argue peoples. OP, the first thing you should do when researching a blu purchase is see if they have a review on this site. That should give you a good idea of what to expect.

At the same time, I don't see anything wrong with further inquiry. Its nice to get a perspective from people who are fans/have a copy.

A.) I am not a frequent forum poster in general
B.) It was just a couple of posts. No biggy.

Anyways case closed.

I plan on getting the Blu "The Dark Crystal" once I trade in my Blu "Halloween" (remake) and my DVD version of "The Dark Crystal". Thanks for your help.
