Sony BDP-S350 firmware update - Blu-ray Forum

For those who are not aware, there is a new firmware update. The biggest news for me is that it now allows freeze frame and slow motion on your machine. Of course it has the usual improvements for working with certain discs etc. too.

I have downloaded it directly to my machine and tried it out. It works great!

Thanks for the heads up, the freeze frame feature sounds good.

Just curious... I'm from Australia. I couldn't update my BD Player via Network Update. Does this mean the 020 version is only for the US model S350s? Can I use the download file? Or do I have to wait until Sony of Australia to release their version?
