Need Advice on a player... - Blu-ray Forum

I am looking for the easiest to use and best Blu player for under $400 for a friend jumping into Blu for Xmas, any ideas?

I guess I could go that route but, was just looking for other options, and if it streams netflix that would be a plus

Well, he picked a good time to jump on board. There will be some nice sales in the next week, and probably for the remainder of the holidays. I've got an "oldie" 301 from Sony that hasn't given me any problems... so you can't go wrong with a newer model Sony. And they do have Netflix.

I would go for the Sony BDP-N460 decodes Dolby True HD and DTS HD MA, Streams Netflix and Youtube. It has an Ethernet port and you can set up WiFi (would need an adaptor). $204 in Amazon

Well you can up your budget a bit and get an OPPO or a PS3 slim with the Netflix disc so you can use stream netflix and the slim can Bit-stream so you're covered there.
