Good Opera Blu-rays?

Hi All,

Im wanting to give a good opera on Blu as a gift. Anyone have any they would recommend with good PQ?

I highly recommend "The Blu-ray Experience: Opera and Ballet Highlights." It has clips running several minutes each from La Boheme, Swan Lake, Die Flaudermaus, The Magic Flute, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Carmen, and more!

When you play it, it will likely default to PCM audio but go to the audio selection on the disc where you also have a selection of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA. I found the DTS-MA far superior to the PCM, and equal is the TrueHD.
