Games You'd Like To See On PS3

I guess there are no real rules to what you would like to see, so whether it's an old game (PS2, PS1, or even older) that you'd like to see a new version of, or a game from that other system you'd like to see ported over, or a game that doesn't even exist (other than in your head), post whatever game you'd like to see here.

I'll start.

Earlier today it was snowing outside, and for whatever reason, I was reminded of SSX and how fun those games actually were.

So I'd really like to see a PS3 version of SSX.

I know DJ Atomika hinted at it in Burnout Paradise, but as far as I know, there's nothing official about a current-gen SSX being made (unless you count SSX Blur on the Wii).

Crap, I think I might go play SSX Tricky now.

SSX no question. It was the game that made me fall in love with my PS2 and I have always wanted that same feeling again.

I would also like to see SOTC and ICO (I missed it the first time around) with the same treatment as GOW collection.

Those were two of my other ideas (SotC in particular). The GOW treatment would be great, and hopefully get a whole new batch of people to appreciate the game.

All the Myst games on one blu ray discs, remastered in high definition at 1080p video, reanimated HD video clips and lossless 7.1 audio with restored, remastered audio bits, and mouse support.

Counter Strike: Source on the PS3 also with 1080p gameplay, 7.1 lossless audio, mouse and keyboard support and access to the steam PC servers. Also a special 2.35:1 widescreen mode for CIH users.

Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People (SBCG4AP), all the epidsodes remaster in 1080p, lossless audio, mouse.

I would love to see a Kain or Soul Reaver remake, prequel or continuation.

Resident Evil complete collection. Even a multi-disc set would be really nice, especially if they were able to pump up the graphics a bit. Then if they were able to go through and un-clunk the controls from some of the earlier iterations, that would be awesome.

I would also buy a similar Gran Turismo collection.

I actually posted a topic about this on ign. Game of topic: Crystallis. I don't know if many people remember that game, but it was one of my childhood favorites. I have a few others including one I think I heard a rumor on, American Mcgee's Alice. I loved that game. Another would of course be probably the most rumored remake I have ever heard, final fantasy vii as a complete remake. Keep all the same gameplay, but add dialogue with 7.1 lossless and top notch 1080p graphics. I am sure that a final fantasy 7 remake will eventually come, but one I have been dying for but not sure if it will happen is final fantasy x and xii given the god of war treatment. Those are pretty much the only two games I played of their generation (I didn't start getting serious about gaming until I got my ps3. And who says the ps3 doesn't attract non gamers! But seriously I missed out on pretty much every great game between the super nintendo and ps3. Other than the final fantasy games I really didn't play anything on the ps1 and ps2. Let's bring back all the greats I say

Focusing so much on old games, I forgot an entire series that has never graced the ps3 and is stuck on the machine that shall not be named is gears of war. I hate waiting for the pc versions so bad, I would love for the to be a ps3 release with simultaneous release dates in the future. That machine can keep halo for all I care, I can't stand those, but gears of war is a top notch game and I still haven't played the second and won't until either, a: it comes out for the pc, or b: makes it's debut on the machine that only does everything else worth doing.
I thought I would also take your suggestion and mention one that has never been a game that I would love to see. I have finished writing a fantasy novel and am trying to polish it up and get it published. But I love gaming just as much as reading and to be honest, I would love for my novel to become a great ps3 exclusive more than I would like it to become a blockbuster movie. I have actually written the book with the intention of adding elements that would make it adaptable to a game. It's just a dream of mine and you said anything we would like to see on the ps3. I just gave mine a personal touch. Not only would it be awesome to play my vision but think of the royalties, ca-ching!
