I have it preordered in the 70's but I'm not sure I'll still buy. The package is just too much. I guess I could always make custom covers. I'll wait for reviews before keeping. I'm also hoping blazing saddles is a different encode with lossless audio

The packaging is interesting. But the price of the whole collection is so damn steep.

I already have Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs, and I'm not that familiar with High Anxiety, Silent Movie, To be or Twelve Chairs... But I do want Robin Hood, Young Frankenstein and History Of the World... badly!

I doubt it. His best movies IMO are Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, and Young Frankenstein and I already have all of those. I think I'll pass on this set.

This is where I am, with those 3 exact movies. Nothing else really does it for me...

I have the 3 already released; though, I would want Robin Hood and History Of the World Part 1 (would have been awesome if he made a sequel).

I already own some of the movies, and it does not make sense for me to buy the entire collection. I am sure that they will be available for individual sale in a few months.

Why didn't you just find something else for $3 and get super saver shipping?

It's great that this fell within Best Buys 15 day price match policy and I was able to get money back from my $34.99 buy last Tuesday.

Yeah, the set is also missing Dracula, Dead and Loving it! and (of course) The Producers.

Of course people know they're missing. Nobody's "like dumb". Maybe it was a rights issue, or a budget issue, or maybe the people putting together the set simply didn't think "Life" and "Dracula" were worth the cost of including them. Who knows?

It's a pity it's not a complete set, for sure. I too would have liked those other films to be included. Personally, though, I'm just grateful they included "The Twelve Chairs".

I'm just bummed out because I don't want to.purchase this collection and then a real whole complete collection comes out. And it's also one of my favorite movies of all time, I've worked so near to skid row that it's like personal to me in a way. Plus "Life Stinks" isn't on blu ray yet or ever which.makes me blow up even more. Thanks MacEachaid for the explanation, I didn't even.know those other titles were missing too. Who do I protest too, which movie company do nag at lol.
