Man, the picture of the SteelBook also looks like a DVD. I hope that Scanavo ain't dumb enough to release in every region a DVD size SteelBook with Blu-Ray discs inside

I doubt that Scanavo would have anything to to with that decision. They will make what they are asked to by the retailer/distributor

Yes I do see that as well, and if that is the case for this whole Michael Jackson SteelBook releases this will be an Epic Fail for Scanavo.

Had doubt on the steel size from the picture but still ordered one. As there are large number of MJ fans in China but few might care about the size of this SteelBook, it was sold out the second day after amazon.cn put up this pre-order link. It is said (might be rumors only) that the total number of this steels release in China is 300 only.

All steel release from Asian countries/regions used to share the same batch of steelbook supplied by Scanavo. Such as FFVII, T4 steelbook from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand ... the only difference between them might be the paperback and UPC.

Transformers, the first movie, also the first DVD get released in Steelbook in China, 1000 sets..

Well, the first 200 copies sold quite ok because of hardcore collectors but the rest, you guess, how many copies sold per month? it's 2 years now and they are still available from the wholesale.

Given what it comes with, i guess the definition of world's lowest price would depend but we just bought ours for $24.99 CAD for the SB. So i guess its just a matter if the extras are worth spending money on..
