The Digital Bits had this link posted so I thought I would post it here if you want the ORIGINAL Star Wars Trilogy released on Blu without the newer computer effects added by George Lucas years later.

Well, I just thought the purist among us Blu-ray adopters would appreciate this because I remember how these films looked in their original theatrical release and I just hate what was done to the French Connection Blu! So thanks in advance to anyone who signs the petition!

I'll sign it, can't hurt. There's no shame in 80s effects, there's no need to be so weird and insecure about people seeing them. (The original version of E.T. has been playing on HBO like crazy all year and the world didn't end.)

I'm waaaaay too lazy to copy/paste (cuz u did it wrong) link!!

Personally, I want it all!! I want the original video along with the touch-ups. Along with all the behind the scene extra things that would accompany such an awesome release, I'd expect the box case to look something like the Millenium Falcon! I want this damn thing to be the biggest thing ever! We're talking like a 12+ discs here folks... 2015 will be here soon enough!
