I find it funny that my previous post got banned.

Nothing more then a bunch of pompous freaks being fed the Kool Aid. Hats off to everyone, you definitely all deserve it. What began with a simply few questions on my concerns ended up with a bunch of people acting like jack asses simply because I wasn't advocated the Blu Ray format and rather contemplating it.

For now, based on your comments and actions all I can say is GFY.

I believe I gave you a VERY well-written, well-positioned view of why you should go Blu-ray . . . and then later on in the thread, you made some stupid comment about "drinking the Kool-Aid." So before this one gets banned too . . . you sir, can "GFY." If you're going to ask a question, be constructive with the feedback you get, and if you have a preference for one over the other, back it up with facts and logic, rather than make childish comments that are of no use to everyone, and only make you look like a 10-year-old in the sandbox debating over whose dad can beat up the others.

Here is a perfect example, I am not mad, I am simply testing the waters, probing for information and based on a response like this I think the debate is simply a joke.

The harm has already been done. Some posts were actually thought provoking, but unfortunately the other 90% were brought forth by total ass holes assuming that I was totally against the format.

Anyhow whatever, I'll buy a PS3 and a HD DVD. But for those who actually think there is a winner and are getting angry with people for simply bringing up the topic of HD DVD. You are simply ****ed.

If you're going to buy both . . . why ask for a reason to buy one or the other? I was one of the "thought provoking" posts who was actually trying to aid in your decision . . . don't get pissy because you chose to go the other way. Nobody got angry because you brought up HD DVD, but because you asked a question regarding a decision between the two, and later followed it up with stupid comments as noted in my earlier post. If you ask a legitimate question and act in a civilized manner, you'll get a good reaction from us, as there's nothing we'd like more than to get you to go out and buy a Blu-ray player.

Come on dave, there is no need for such language. I truly hope the moderator will demonstrate extreme discretion and not ban or delete this post, because I believe rational discussion can be achieved - even now. Most of us support blu-ray, but that doesn't mean we drank the Kool-Aid or can not present arguments in a logical manner.

While I disagree with the original post, I can understand where he's coming from. Many people here are beyond fanboys and are completely blind.

I'm all for intelligent discussions, but it seems many posts just bash HD DVD for useless reasons and false info too. And thinking HD DVD is going to be gone tomorrow is just ignoring reality.

Sorry, but I was simply trying to bring myself to the level of around 50% of the people who were posting non-sense. Lets be realistic here, half the crap that people bring up as being a proponent of the EITHER format is simply CRAP.
