So I ordered from there before, no problems.
This time I placed an order: (all blus) The Quick and the Dead Terminator 3 Highlander Immortal Edition Steelbook They sent me an email stating that the Highlander steelbook was discontinued and they canceled my part of the order. Then I emailed them stating I was canceling the rest of the order. And what do they do? Charge me and ship the rest without replying to my email. This is completely horrible customer service. I sent them another email after my "order" was dispatched stating the package would be refused or returned. And I will call my CC company and get a charge back. Why do they do this? All it does is waste time and money (their's and mine) seeing as now they paid to ship it, I have to wait, then I have to ship it back. UPDATE: Now I get an email saying that they were unable to cancel the items before they shipped. (I believe they call this "Bollocks" across the pond) I have to return the package when it arrives then wait until it gets there to get my refund. This will probably be the last time I order from them. They fully received my email before shipping and decided to ship it anyways hoping I'd just keep them. Maybe your order was already prepared for dispatch before you had time to fully cancel the whole order. I have always found their customer service fantastic so give them and email when you get your package and i'm sure they will be happy to refund

Oh I didnt realise they had done that. Its not really like Amazon to do something like that. Hopefully they will refund you as thats not really acceptable. I suppose you could put it down to how busy companies have been over the holidays. Mix-ups happen unfortunately

It could be them being busy, but I feel this order was forced on me. When Amazon.com canceled a part of my order there were 2 links in the email, one to cancel the whole order, and one to finalize the order with the remaining items.
It just angers me that now I have to wait and get either a refund which takes weeks (counting UK to US shipping time) or if that fails, call my CC and get the charge back. Which is the equivalent of "screw you" to the company that charged me (Amazon) and I love Amazon. |
