I am really looking forward to the new DC film, Crisis On Two Earths. I just wish Kevin Conroy was doing Batman in it.

I have to agree with you 100%. Almost rebought this for $7.50 at Wal*Mart...

1 - Heavy Metal
2 - Rock & Rule (received an e-mail from the distributer Unearthed Films and they stated that Rock & Rule is one of the films that they can do a blu-ray release for and that they will begin to release some of their catalog titles some time next year - good news)
3 - Appleseed (the first movie - JP Import does not have English Audio/Subs, Danish release is region 2)
4 - Fist of the North Star (a proper uncensored version of original Hokuto No Ken feature film)
5 - Hobbit/Return of the King (personally not a fan of Bakshi's Lord of the Rings adaptation)
6 - Daft Punk & Leiji Matsumoto's Interstella 5555 The Story of the Secret Star System
7 - Ninja Scroll

I could have sworn this was covered in another thread....

We're talking about already released animation blu's, right?
In that case, I'm looking forward to buying:
- all Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas blu's
- Ponyo (probably Japanese edition)
- Ratatouille (the only Pixar I don't have yet)
- Ghost in the Shell movies
- Heroic Age (provided Funimation gives it a proper treatment)

If you're actually asking whether there are any upcoming Pixar movies on Blu, trust me, you can WAIT for Sony's "Cloudy".
There are plenty more valuable way to occupy your viewing in the meantime.
(Am I the only...no, only person in the Western hemisphere who thought CWaCoM was insufferably attention-deficited and Family Guy'ed up the gills, while trying to sneak out the back door of faux-Pixar hugginess because everyone else was nowadays?)

As a matter of fact, just about anything else is better--
I still think Dreamworks's main studio should be bombed off the face of North America, and I'd STILL recommend "Monsters vs. Aliens" for Lovable value over "Cloudy"....When that's its spot in the hierarchy, something's wrong.
(Meet the Robinsons?--Too far above even the comparison. And Astro Boy?--Yes...Astro Boy, fer cryin' out loud!)

I hope my favorite Disney movie, "Sword in the Stone" will come out sometime in the next 10 years

Other then that I'm really looking forward to Toy Story 1 & 2 and the Beauty and the Beast in 2010.

He did not mention Pixar, as they are not the only animation studio. BTW, I loved "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" almost as much as my son did!

If you haven't seen The Dragon Hunters, you're missing a phenomenon - it's on par with anything Pixar's ever released on home video, with some scenes actually being the best yet on Blu.

Both Iron Giant and The Incredibles need Blu releases - I can't figure out why this hasn't happened, especially with Incredibles.

"Dragon Hunters" is a good one; the imagery is incredibly imaginative.
