The Bourne Trilogy - Blu-ray Forum

I was at Best Buy today and I was going to pick up the Bourne Identity and the Bourne Ultimatum on blu-ray since the studio released them individually only to find out that they're a double-sided disc. On one side is the blu-ray version and on the other side a DVD version of the movie. Needless to say I didn't buy them.

Maybe it's just me but I've never liked the dual-sided discs (not even when they released DVD's with both WS and FS). Anyone else feel this way?

I guess I'll just buy the box set that has been out for awhile.

Yep, most of us hate them. Theres already a thread on this somewhere.

What is it you don't like

What's the difference? You still pop it out of the disc into the player same as always...

I agree... I hate them.

If my wife puts it in she wont even notice dvd or bluray... and I will end up watching the crap version.

Why would I want a DVD if I am buying a blu-ray.

I WANT THE BEST for the CHEAPEST.

Exactly! If I wanted the DVD I would've bought the DVD. Don't need a dual-sided blu-ray... oh well

Import them from the UK. They are region free and cost around $30 shipped.

Why isn't the first re-released film (April 5, 2016 listing) on Amazon anymore? just from third party sellers. I wanted to blind buy it.

Same discs. You would imagine there would be some AVC encodes.

I was hoping that Universal would release a box set with all the Bourne movies (even Legacy) and include an empty space to add Jason Bourne when the Blu-ray is released… just like they did with last year's Jurassic Park Collection re-release with the space to add Jurassic World.

Cool! I was going to just buy the trilogy (because Damon isn't in Legacy) but this has more bonuses. AND there's a separate slot for the next film. Even cooler!

Well that was fast. I just looked at the UK release, which the US should be identical to, and it is just as I guessed. A book packaging with a slot for Jason Bourne too

. The bonus disc appears to be a DVD.

I don't know if I just want the trilogy or classified. I didn't like legacy too much.
