Hostage? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey,

I have the German release of Hostage with Brus Willis. I think the picture is pretty damn good, but the audio is only Dolby Digital 5.1...I want that DTS-HD or Dolby True HD.

Does anything think this will ever come to the U.S. or should I just buy the U.K. version that has the DTS-HD?

There is a Canadian release with DTS-HD MA, but it is sadly the wrong aspect ratio.

Yeah that's one of the reasons why I didn't want to get that version.
I originally bought the German version of Hostage a LONG time ago on Blu-Ray. FANTASTIC video quality, and decent audio quality, but there's no DTS HD which pisses me of...I don't want to pay money if there will be a U.S. version...so should I wait for the U.S. release?

I got the UK one like years ago for not that much, if its cheap still or better yet even cheaper than a few years ago I say go for it. If there's a buy 2 get 1 free or something it makes it worthwhile shipping wise usually, but that's assuming there are 3 UK movies that you want that are playable on your machine.
