New Layout of Site - Blu-ray Forum

Excellent update adding the video game section. As an owner of all the major consoles, it'll be really nice being to discuss 360 games in their own thread instead of having everything lumped together in one thread in Off Topic. Thanks!!

I just checked out the new layout of the forums. Much of this seems to be an improvement, but, I disagree with moving the "Insiders Forum" into "Blu-Ray Players and Hardware". This is especially inappropriate since the 2 most popular threads "Penton-Man" and "Digital Bits" rarely discuss players and hardware.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Really glad to hear that you like it guys

We had outgrown the previous forum layout and the forum was really in need of attention. We will continue to split off new forum sections as needed.

Wow, that is unexpected and very cool. I love the constant tweaks and improvements over the past few months.

I am sure Blu-ray.com wants to appeal to everyone across the world, but looking at it today, the entire "Region C Hot Deals" sub-forum appears to be one sticky thread that has not had a new post in almost one whole year.

Maybe combine both the Region B Hot Deals and Region C Hot Deals in one sub-forum, ala Region B & C Hot Deals. This is more important now that the Hot Deals area has become even more subdivided. Most readers develop patterns in regularly checking active forums, while completely ignoring sub-forums with little activity. It can always be brought back as a separate category if the Region C deals explode in popularity.

We will shortly add so you can specify which forums you want to see on the front page, so you will be able to see a merged view of all hot deals if you want.
