People with new businesses or products go infront of 5 or so potential investors (sharks) asking for money in exchange for a percentage of their business.
Some of the businesses are off the wall, while others are quite good and even fairly successful already. They just need more money to expand. The sharks sometimes deal alone or they team up splitting the investment. There is usually some negotiating and plenty of greedy business owners, like wanting $500k for 15% of a business that hasn't turned a profit. It is average entertainment. Seeing if they succeed down the line is the most interesting part. |
