“Backdraft” (1991) that was released in 70mm six-track Dolby stereo A (SS). The previous version on region 2 DVD first edition soundtrack wise spot on! It has dialogue panning as well normal centre dialogue and discrete isolated effects and different music mixes over the LCR and music was only monaurally recorded for the surrounds only the sound effects where stereo on the surrounds.

The framing was mostly on the piss like this screenshot. Note black bar on the right! This never happened in the cinema its just some poor lazy picture transfer at Universal!



When it goes from the scene here to the next scene closer on the boat the framing expands on the right, this is typically annoying to watch.






Also leave out the DNR and EE I want grain all-way though the film!

I hope they don’t botch the mix up because I have the DVD right here and nope will not sale it at any price. Now then!
