So as most of you know, there's two versions of T2 on Blu. The regular, first release, and the Skynet Edition release. The Skynet Edition has a noticeable (improved) difference in PQ from the regular.
Now, there's also a special T-800 Skull Set of the movie (on Blu). Basically, which PQ does the Skull Set have? First or SE release? For those in need of some visual aids... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Termi...-Blu-ray/4025/ If so, It comes with basically every edition of the movie ever made, with the exception of the vhs and laserdisc if the made that. The PQ of that versions Synet edition is no different then any other skynet edition. |

How many of those six discs are DVDs and a digital copy?
If you're a fan, there's import releases with superior picture quality over the U.S. releases: UK (cheap, extended cut, no extras) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Terminator-2...6245830&sr=1-3 Japan (theatrical and extended cuts, extras.... but expensive) http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%BF%E3...6245886&sr=1-1 |

I'm holding off an all existing versions of Terminator 2 until they do a proper remaster. If they've already done one for 1, 2 seems pretty likely to me

If your after the best PQ for T2, you have to go with the 1st UK release. The PQ is amazing, no DNR or EE, and fantastic DTS-HDMA 5.1 sound. I've got it and I'm pretty sure its the extended cut, its really long and extra scenes in the desert? Arnie trying to smile? Its got that in it! No extras though except a calibration tool. Save your money and go for the best version!
