Shawn Ryan's "Terriers" - Blu-ray Forum

Shawn Ryan has been on one hell of a roll over the past several years and having enjoyed all his other work, I can't imagine I won't love this one as well. Terriers was officially picked up several months back and will debut on FX this summer.

"Terriers," FX's hourlong comedy from "The Shield" creator Shawn Ryan and "Ocean's Eleven" writer Ted Griffin, centers on Hank (Donal Logue), an ex-cop who partners with his best friend Britt (Michael Raymond James) to launch an unlicensed P.I. business in which the duo, both with maturity issues, solve crimes while trying to avoid danger and responsibility. The show will combine stand-alone episodes with overarching mystery.

Hank is an affable, talkative fellow who's not always the best liar but is adept at adopting different personas to find out information. He is alarmed by what he perceives as signs of his encroaching senility. Kimberly Quinn will play Hank's ex-wife, who maintains a friendly relationship with him. Laura Allen will play Britt's girlfriend, who's putting pressure on him to have kids. Rockmond Dunbar will play Hank's former partner, a detective with the San Diego Police Department.

It sounds like Psych, but with ex cops.

But it's on FX and it's from the mad genius Shawn Ryan so it'll be like 8,000 times better.

Each week with Rescue Me another great promo is released. I might be the only one who thinks this looks great and have been waiting for it for six months, but just like all other fx shows with the exception of one, I have faith that once this premieres next Wednesday you guys will flock to this thread.

Will be watching tonight as I just saw the promo and didn't really know about the show before except the name didn't grab me. But the promo did so I can't wait.

If you ever watch FX that is impossible, they have been pimping the hell out of this show. And the promos look awesome. I would take a leap and say you'll love it.

Due to my massive amount of school work and regular cast work, I'm on the "DVR only" tv plan. So I just skip the promos. On purpose.

I can watch stuff on weds live though. I may check out Hellcats cause there is nothing on.

I'll let you know how terrible that is.

Wow... That's TERRIBLE.

While this does suck, the ratings don't have me worried. They did renew Damages several times and it had something like 500k viewers. So Terriers has a long way to go down before I worry.
