Thing is, are we in fact doing the next generation a disservice making them watch the same "Facts of Life" reruns we grew up with, just because they're the product of our OWN old-fogey 80's sitcom-screenwriter demons?

And here we thought we had the first Laughtrack-Free generation...

(The cultural saturation gets to the point that I've actually heard--no, really--Channel-fangirls say "I like Saved by the Bell, it's as cool and funny as a Disney Channel show!"

I love Wizards. It's a wonderful show and the way Selena plays that "Alex attitude" is just so funny.

Nice to hear it's been picked up and that they're doing another movie. But I've been missing Wizards for the past month. Anyone know if there's a place online where I can watch those past episodes?

I usually watch it when im eating my breakfast.
Although they have Dutch voices over here, so it's quite horrible. I never seen the characters with their original voices.

But I do like the show.

P2P might be a route you can explore, though the encodes can be hit-or-miss. Select episodes are also available on DVD, though I'd much rather have season box sets on DVD or Blu-ray (it's unlikely though, seeing as the ratings are nowhere near Hannah Montana, and that series produced just a single season set thus far)

It hasn't been confirmed but it seems that the first 2 episodes of season 4 are going to be Alex tells the World and Alex gives Up. I think the Alex will somehow tell the world they are Wizards and will be a 2 part episode. Not sure if it will be a major plot of season 4 or one they fix by the end of the episode. Also this site is for the most part right when giving out this kind of information.

Even Stevens is the best Disney Channel show of all time. Ren and Tawny were cuties

It works well as a sitcom because the writing is very good (it was good enough to win an Emmy), with the strongest performance attributed to the precocious lead actor Selena Gomez. Unlike anything on TBS, it is genuinely funny.

Love Wizards of Waverly Place think it's the best thing on Disney since So weird. Very well written and pretty funny most times and Selena only makes it better.

It's weird that you think I'd think it's weird you like Selena. I adore this show a good deal and while it is a show about wizards, I think it has the best portrayal of a family on TV I've seen in quite some time.

Not you but other people on this forum. If I mention I like Selena the next post is always a post saying how that's weird unless I'm close to her in age which I am. I also really like the family dynamic on this show and it got even better in the movie.

I loved the last two episodes, although one has to start to wonder that more people don't realize there are wizards at Alex's school.

Another So Weird fan. Yay. Wizards is okay. The movie was alright, but it doesn't quite live up to the Disney shows of yore.
