It is definitely some great early 80's sci-fi/horror cheese. And Mr. Avatar himself worked on this film.

Really looking forward to Piranha and Death Race 2000, Cliff Mac of SF has apparently stated that these will all be region locked which is a shame though.

This is the best horrible movie I have ever seen.

The entire film is nothing more than an excuse to get a hot blonde chick naked, cover her in KY jelly, and run her under a giant fake worm like a car wash!

I remember seeing this as a kid and getting really confused. Am I supposed to get turned on or repulsed? The answer clearly is BOTH.

God bless Roger Corman - the man may only make schlock, but he knows how to make high quality schlock. Every penny is wisely spent to maximize the look and feel and sound of the film while delivering maximum value and maximum entertainment. Objectively, Galaxy of Terror (and Piranha and Humanoids from the Deep and Space Raiders and Battle Beyond the Stars and - well, you get the idea) is a terrible movie, but it is crazy fun.

Out of Corman's two space horrors I actually enjoyed Forbidden World much more than Galaxy of Terror. I guess this movie is better known just because of the worm scene, but I thought it was a tad boring compared to FW. Though I have to admit that I was accompanied by a few beers when watching the film. These movies reach their full potential when watched drunk I think

Battle Beyond the Stars was one of my favourite movies as a kid. It has a great score that makes it feel almost like a big budget movie. And I liked Humanoids from the Deep until the final scene in the carnival that didn't work for me at all.

Yes...these movies are the best at 12am with half a brain left. Then you wake up next morning thinking you had the strangest dream until you realize you fell a sleep to a Roger Corman film.

Yeah, I just ordered the Orange/Red Swirl colored vinyl version.

I would greatly prefer a CD release myself, but whatever. I've been waiting too long for a release of the score in general, so I decided to bite on it anyway.

Nice record but since I don't have a record player doesn't make much sense to get it even though I love the movie. I do think the film deserves a 4K restoration on Blu-Ray, crossing my fingers Arrow gets to do it.

You could always frame and hang it - that poster/cover art deserves the proper presentation!

Use one of these and just hang it sideways if you have the colored vinyl.
I have a few laserdiscs hanging in these and they look dope! Just ask em to mount it for horizontal display when you order and they will, I've dealt with em a few times already and they have been great. It's not great that last time I didn't get free shipping like the first couple times though.

If I ordered one, I think I'd stick to the regular black vinyl. Anything with that weird liquid filling, while looking cool for a while, can leak or coagulate after a while.

They do look awesome though.
