Huge disappointment of a film was so looking forward to seeing it prior to release, embarrassing to watch in places.

After growing up watching the original and others like sinbad etc i couldnt wait for this, and tbh i throughly enjoyed it. Yes the script is quite weak and the characters didnt have much personality but it was quite entertaining. Will be definatly purchasing day one if there is a decent exclusive (steelbook hopefully!)

A bit off topic but just got in from seeing Robin Hood, id say it was about 7/10. Was quite pleased with it actually and it had sequel written all over it!

This.

It's just a nice popcorn movie. I'd love a UK steely release, only one announced yet is the France but I'm hoping there's a few more. BR transfer will probably be gorgeous.

Hmm, might give this one a rent, or wait until it comes on TV. I never fancied it that much and it got a swarm of bad reviews. I also avoided seeing it in the cinema because of the higher prices of 3D movies and the negativity that the effect received from audiences. Plus there were just much better films on at the cinema at the same time, e.g. How to Train Your Dragon and Kick-Ass. But you never know, I might be surprised.
